When parent portal is enabled, there are various scenarios that school and parent rules can co-exist. The following explains under what condition, school or parent rule will take effect:

  1. If the device is on-campus, then school rule will take effect
  2. If it's within school hours as well as "Override parent rules during remote learning sessions" option is enabled under parent portal, then school rule will take effect
  3. If "Override parent rules during remote learning sessions" option as well as "Allow classes outside of school hours" are enabled, school rule will take effect during class time.
  4. For all other cases, parent rule will take effect.
