Deledao’s Parent Portal feature is a great parent engagement tool. Once signed up, parents can: 

  • Receive weekly email reports of the student's blocked and allowed activities.
  • When school devices are brought home, use the Deledao web Parent Portal or Deledao Parent mobile app to: 
    • Block additional categories and websites.
    • Unblock certain websites, if allowed by school admin. 
    • Set down time on school devices. 

Prior to inviting the parents to the Parent Portal, the administrator will need to make some basic configurations of the Parent Portal features in the Deledao Admin Console.

The configurations on this page will decide how much control guardians can have over school devices when they are brought home. 

  • Allow guardian to block additional categories - will let guardians block additional categories for their children on top of school admin’s policy. Categories blocked by school policies will always be enforced and parents cannot unblock them. 

  • Allow guardian to block additional websites - will let guardians block additional websites for their children on top of school admin’s policy. Websites blocked by school policies will always be enforced and parents cannot unblock them. 
  • Allow guardian to allow additional websites - will let guardians unblock certain websites that are disallowed by school policies. This is NOT recommended. 


  • Show only off-campus activities to guardians - will let only see student activities when the student is off campus.

  • Override parent rules during remote learning sessions - rules set by guardians will usually be honored when the devices are brought home. However, in remote learning situations, it may be desirable to enable “Override parent rules during remote learning sessions” so that parent rules will be ignored during configured remote learning periods. 


  • Show only blocked activities to guardians - will let the guardian only show the students blocked activities.
