Note: This deployment follows a three-part workflow: installing the PKG, applying the Global HTTP Proxy (PAC), and executing the certificate trust script. Please reach out to Support at: support@deledao.com to request a copy of our most up to date PKG Installer for MacOS before performing the below steps.
Step 1: Deploy the Deledao PKG
Navigate to Computers > Policies in Jamf Pro.
Click New.
Under the General tab, provide a display name (e.g., "Install Deledao Proxy").
Select the Packages payload and click Configure.
Add your pre-configured Deledao PKG file and ensure the action is set to Install.
Set the Execution Frequency to "Once per computer."
Step 2: Deploy Certificate and Trust Script
To satisfy macOS Sequoia requirements, the certificate and the trust script must be deployed.
Please reach out to support@deledao.com to request the custom cert and script.
Upload the Certificate:
In your Configuration Profiles, add a Certificate payload and upload the deledao.com.crt file.
Scope this to your target computers.
Deploy the Trust Script:
Navigate to Settings > Computer Management > Scripts and upload your certInstall.sh.txt file.
Go back to the Policy created in Step 1 (or create a new one that triggers after the PKG installation policy).
Add the Scripts payload and select your certInstall.sh.txt
Ensure the script priority is set to After so it runs only after the PKG has successfully installed.
Step 3: Configure Global HTTP Proxy
You can obtain the PAC URL from your Deledao admin console > Deployment > Windows & Mac.
Navigate to Computers > Configuration Profiles.
Click New.
Under the General tab, provide a name (e.g., "Deledao PAC Configuration").
Locate the Proxies payload.
Select Automatic Proxy Configuration and enter your PAC URL.
Save and scope the profile to your target computers.
