Note: Please reach out to support at: support@deledao.com to request the certificate (.cer) and the custom PAC URL you will need to perform the deployment steps below.

1. Push the .cert Certificate

    1. Jamf Pro → Devices → Configuration Profiles → + New

    2. General Payload:

  • Name: Something clear (e.g., “Deledao Root Certificate”)
  • Distribution Method: Install Automatically
  • Level: Device Level

    3. Add Certificates payload → Upload your .cer file

    4. Save

    5. Go to Scope → add your devices/smart group → Save

2. Push the PAC URL (Separate Profile Recommended)

    1. New Configuration Profile again (+ New)

    2. General payload:

  • Name: e.g., “Deledao Global HTTP Proxy”
  • Distribution Method: Install Automatically

3. Add Global HTTP Proxy payload:

  • Proxy Type: Auto
  • Proxy PAC URL: Paste your full PAC URL here
  • (Optional) Uncheck “Allow Users to Change Proxy Settings” if you want to lock it

4. Save

5. Go to Scope → add the same devices/smart group → Save

Quick Tips for Jamf Pro:

  • You can combine both payloads (Certificates + Global HTTP Proxy) into one single profile if you prefer.

  • Many schools keep them separate so you can update the PAC URL later without re-pushing the certificate.

  • After saving, the profile pushes automatically to assigned devices (as long as they’re enrolled and online).

  • On the iPad: Check Settings → General → VPN & Device Management (or Profiles) to see installed profiles.

  • Certificate trust: Users may still need to manually trust it in Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings.
